Helen Woodward Animal Center’s 13th Annual PAWmicon brought paw-sitive energy and heroic hearts to Balboa Park!
Held on Tuesday, July 22, 2025, just steps away from the Comic-Con Museum, this year’s suPAWhero celebration united animal lovers, cosplay fans, and rescue advocates for an unforgettable afternoon of fun, friendship, and furry fandom.🐶🦸♀️🐱
🐾 This year marked a special moment for MichiSaurio, as we officially launched our MichiSaurio Adventures comic series — stories inspired by real-life heroes who rescue, protect, and care for animals in need. The debut of our feline hero (and his loyal pup sidekick!) was met with warm smiles, curiosity, and lots of love at the booth.

Last Saturday Nov 23, MichiSaurio was proud to be part of the Doggie Street Festival! We had an amazing time connecting with pet lovers and their furry friends.

We were thrilled to be part of San Diego Humane Society’s Fur Ball 2024, a record-breaking event that raised an incredible $1.7 million for animals in need. MichiSaurio proudly contributed with custom gift sets that participated in the Blind Auction, helping raise funds to support this amazing cause.

Helen Woodward Animal Center’s 12th Annual PAWmicon brought an afternoon of smiles, laughs, and suPAWheroes! Over 350 attendees were treated to special PAWSplay appearances by MUTTneto, PAWfessor X, YoDOG, WOOFerine, a canine samurai, and many, many more. Most importantly, the event raised OVER $40,000 for the pets and programs at Helen Woodward Animal Center.
